Travel diaries: week ten
If we could describe this week in one word, it would be breathtaking. Our first stop was Glacier National Park. The scenery here is out of a storybook, with plenty of lakes, mountains, and wildlife. We were in awe at every turn. There were a few closures but we still managed to see a lot of the places on our wish list.
We spent the second part of the week in Yellowstone, these two couldnβt be more different- which makes it hard to choose a favorite! Yellowstone has more than a quarter of the worlds geysers; there are geothermal features at every single turn. This was also a wildlife hotspot- we observed too many bison to count, pronghorns, bald eagles, a grizzly and a black bear, elk, and mountain goats. This experience was truly magical, even when youβre right in the middle of the scenery, it seems too good to be true.
We have already talked about coming back during different seasons. These photos barely scratch the surface of the grandeur we were able to witness last week.
Any guesses where we are headed next?
